The traditional South African big five are lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and buffalo. Kaiza 5 however is inspired by head distiller, Keegan Cook's favourite 5 botanicals; Grapefruit, Blackcurrant, Coriander & Angelica Root. Add Juniper to this mix and you have a unique New Western dry gin. You might consider that this gin would be bold and sweet, but we found it to be balanced & mild, yet somewhat exotic and unique.
In some non Kaiza 5 news, by the time you receive this box we will have shut down our full time operations at our Third Street shop. We set Ginsanity up to share our enjoyment of gin through Hong Kong. We wanted to be an interactive gin and event company and we think now is the time we can do that again!
Our members have made this shift possible, and we thank you for that. We hope going forward we will be able to repay you with more cocktail ideas, video tutorials and more events. Our website will remain active and we will still strive for same day delivery on everything.
