Mayfields Gin, UK
Mayfields Gin is inspired by their local Sussex Hop. Sussex Hop is a tropical, fruit forward hop famous for flavour retention - something that local Sussex distiller and seventh generation hop farmer, Andrew Hoard identified as sharing key similarities to the flavour profiles in many of his favourite gins. Once these hops are harvested and dried they are distilled (with 8 other traditional botanicals) in a 150 year old Oast Still.
Once you get past the hop profile, this is a classic London Dry Gin, with warming herbaceous notes as well as a citrus back bone.
As you can probably guess this is our Christmas Box, beyond the Christmas jumpers and bottles there is a Ginsanity Glass and tonics from Walter Gregor. It is with this glass and tonic we toast all our members and friends and wish you all a Happy Christmas and New Year!
